Hackney Therapy Collection

Edward Peacock
Associate Therapist

I’m Ed (he/him). I work in an integrative way, meaning I draw on different therapeutic modalities to best suit each client’s needs and preferences. This may lean more into psychodynamic approaches, humanistic teaching or cognitive-behavioural practices. The key thing with integrative therapy is that the theory fits you, not the other way around. I’m a registered member of the BACP, the UK’s largest professional body for therapists. I also have an MSc in Psychology, accredited by the BPS, the equivalent body for psychologists.

I work with a wide range of concerns, including overwhelm, burnout, lack of direction, anxiety, depression, relationship/familial issues, sex/sexuality and addiction. I work face-to-face in Hackney Central, and online from wherever you are. I also offer walk-and-talk therapy in nearby green spaces.

For whatever reasons you’ve come to therapy – it could be any number of things and you may or may not know why, that’s okay – but I am here to try and support you with whatever is going on for you. Most of my clients have reached out as they have approached breaking point and our work together has been to unwind and unpick this, in a supportive space.

Sessions
I offer sessions in person in Hackney and online. I provide a free 15 minute initial consultation – feel free to get in touch to arrange one.
